Audrey Wang | 王如玥

(b. 1997 Hong Kong, China)

A native of Hong Kong, Audrey’s works reflect the complexity of living between cultural identities and finding beauty within dichotomy. Often turning to the canvas as a form of emotional expression in her reticent childhood days, her art has evolved as a medium in which she translates and processes feelings. With works ranging from colorful abstract expressions to realistic ink portraits, her work invites spectators to explore the in-betweens: the intersection of the internal and external worlds, the paths between our minds and our hearts, and an attempt to create and capture what is fleeting in the face of constant change.

Audrey is currently a portfolio manager at BlackRock and graduated from Duke University in 2019 with a B.S. in Economics and minors in Visual Media Studies and Political Science. She was formerly based in New York City and is currently living in San Francisco.
